BlueSG is Singapore's 100% electric self-service car sharing operator which provides environmentally-friendly Electric Vehicles (EV). They offer point-to-point service and can be returned at any of their stations located islandwide, where the parking lots can be reserved in advance through the app. The key functionality of this service is the operation of Lithium Metal Polymer (LMP) which does not contribute to environmental pollution and consumes zero petrol or diesel. The EVs have an on-board computer that transmits information about the vehicle, interfaces with the BlueSG operating system for navigation which has the ability to track the locations of the cars including the charging points and parking lots. This function not only enhances usability but also enables BlueSG personnels to identify the cars immediately should there be any accident or emergency occurrences which in turn acts as a measure for maintenance and identify users who misuse the EVs. Dear Professor Brad, My name is Han Ying Quan and I am writing this letter to introduce myself as one of your students in your technical communication class. I am currently pursuing a degree in Telematics (Intelligent Transportation Systems Engineering) in the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). Coming from a business background, I studied consumers' behavior through psychology by conducting market researches with a major in marketing in Republic Polytechnic. In addition to my enrichment learning in polytechnic, were the opportunities to intern at WingTai Asia Retail as a Mystery Shopper and Tigerair Singapore Pte Ltd as a Marketing Executive where I have learned and gained invaluable experiences which I still carry with me till this day.
